This shampoo bar is for dry, damaged hair.
For the shampoo bar, I've used a rather new ingredient: polyquanternium-7.
Polyquaternium-7 strengthens damaged hair and is compatible with a wide range of surfactants. It is also a very good detangler and provides slip for easier wet-combing. In addition, it will add softness and shine to dry hair.
Polyquaternium-7 prevents or inhibits the buildup of static electricity and dries to form a thin coating that is absorbed into the hair shaft. Polyquaternium-7 also helps hair hold its style by inhibiting its ability to absorb moisture.
The excellent Yangu oil has been known to the Masaai community of Kenya for hundreds of years. Pure Yangu oil is said to offer natural UV protection, which is one of the reasons it has become popular. Yangu boasts a rich content of antioxidants and essential fatty acids and replenishes the skin’s lipid barrier to lock in moisture.
SCI and SLSA are mild surfactants that do not contain paraben and can be used even for children's hair.
The shampoo bar smells lovely jasmine in the evening:)
To use:
Get your hair very wet, and then massage the bar against your hair in a small circular motion until you work up a rich lather.
Work the lather into your scalp and rinse thoroughly. Be sure to really get a good lather, and rinse, rinse, rinse!
Repeat if you like. You can wash your hair with natural shampoo every day! It cleans thoroughly without drying or coating your hair or scalp. Dry and style your hair as usual.
